Oprah Winfrey
Michael Sisco was a gay man with aids who lived in a southern town. He decided to enter a swimming pool knowing something may happen from him doing this. Oprah Winfrey went to the town and hosted a town hall with Michael and other people. The majority of the people in the town hall seemed to show anger and homophobic remarks towards Michael. The only reason Michael wanted this to happen was to bring awareness to aids but instead he felt it was centered around his sexuality. The majority of the town hall people blocked out all the professional opinions and scientific evidence. 23 years later Oprah revisited a few of those people and the majority of them regret what they said.

Yes, majority of them regret what they said..except for Waters.Waters didn't feel he had done anything wrong and was very insensitive as well as defensive.
